Thousands of girls are disempowered by the simple biological process of menstruation. Affordable and hygienic sanitary protection is not available and even if they are available poverty is another key barrier to accessing the disposable pads. We train girls and young women to produce reusable/washable pads for themselves so that they can menstruate with dignity
